Owner: Scott Pedrotti
Stats: 1989 Chrysler Lebaron Turbo GTC
Mileage: 63, 160
Bought new in March of 1989, with no extra options, except made the mistake of getting 2.5 T1 with the Auto, instead of 5 speed 2.2 Intercooled (They were the same price.) This car has won an award of excellence at the Mopar Nationals 5 years straight in FWD modified. Scott has won many other shows also, but the Mopar Nats, are the most familar. The car has been built more for show and cruising than as a racer. However, Think not that this car is stock, for it carries the following Performance Modifications: Competition Cams version of Super 60 Cam, Head port and polish, stiffer valve springs, 52mm throttle body, intake ported to match larger throttle body, intercooler, aux tranny cooler. In addition, the car has a K&N drop in replacement filter, 20% larger injectors, Adjustable fuel pressure regulator, MP computer, LRE Turbo Response Kit (currently disconnected due to overboost problem), complete 2 1/2" exhaust with Borla race muffler and all HPC coated, modified sound system, Koni adjustables at all 4 corners, Urethane front sway bar bushings, Steel braided brake lines to replace rubber connections, and lots of extra paint and powdercoating. Also, Scott has finally switched to a K&N Cone style air-filter, and added the set of wheels which had been on his list of "things-to-do" for a very long time! More Stats: Car weighs 3200 lbs w/ Driver and all unboltable weight removed, current Best E.T. is 15.2612 best of '97, And if everything above is not enough, Scott has even focused on making his LeBaron's Soundsystem a national award winner!
