| These pictures were taken when my Z was stock. The dragstrip photo was taken at Action Dragway in Terre Haute, IN. My best time in stock form was 10.21@72mph (1/8mi.) Since then, the engine has been rebuilt. I've kept the original good parts from my Turbo II and added a Forward Motion Stage II head, TEC Stage II turbo, Mopar Performance Stage II logic module, Super 60 cam, Ross pistons, "803" injectors, 52mm throttle body, ported the two-piece intake, 2 1/4" exhaust with Dynomax muffler, and Magnecor plug wires. I have not been back to the strip as I keep having transmission problems. (I didn't think you could break an A-555, but I've done it twice!) I currently have on order from Lambros Race Engineering an Energy Suspension polyurethane front end bushing kit, KYB struts and shocks, and Eibach springs. These parts, along with my BF Goodrich Comp TA ZRs P225/50ZR15 should make my Z corner as fast as it goes straight! Future plans include eliminating the airbox and going with the LRE smooth hose set up, Indy intercooler, Autometer Phantom boost gauge, and 2.5" exhaust with a Flowmaster muffler. |
