| This is my 1987 Chrysler Daytona Shelby Z. I purchased it brand new on May 23, 1987. I made my last payment on it in mid 1993. This car is completely stock, by intent, except for the oiled foam air filter and the "turbo" decals behind the front wheels. I got every option available except leather and t-tops. The car has just under 125,000 miles on it (210,000 km). I just recently purchased it back from the guy I sold it to in 1994. There is a little bit of damage that needs fixing which will be taken care of in short order. Getting in this car, it smells and feels like new. It was garaged most of the 8 years I had it. This vehicle has reached speeds of about 240km/h, and has many happy memories attached to it. Now that I have it back, it's getting all the damage repaired and will be tricked out to its maximum performance potential. These pictures were taken in fall of 1990. |
