1991 CS Competition, AGS package. VIN 1B3XG24J4MG132945. Current mileage: 62,xxx miles. Original owner, no mods outside of K&N drop-in and a MP computer. 2.5 t-I (152/210 rated, dyno tested at 155/214 at the wheels, or 182/251 at the flywheel, on 2/27/99, MP comp, timing at 15 degrees BTDC); A-568. 16" pumpers, 205/55VR16 Gatorbacks. Car also has AWN Super Discount Package (a/c, floor mats, light package, power remote heated mirrors, tilt, pdl, cruise, am/fm/cassette), JPA power windows, GFA rear window defrost, and CPS pinstripes. It's PW7 Bright White exterior with J7R8 bordeaux cloth interior.

I bought this car new on 9/27/91 in Tysons Corner VA, off the dealer's lot. It had 81 miles on the odometer. Cash price: $9,195 (no one in the DC area apparently wants a stickshift!), sticker price: $16,071 - SUCH a deal! I have all the original documentation except the window sticker (the dealer removed it with a sponge before I could tell them to stop) and the CO (never saw it). The car has had the recall for the rear disc brakes / ebrake assembly performed, and got a new head from Mopar in 9/98 (phew! love that 7/70!) due to warpage from a stuck thermostat. It is a numerous-show-winner, and (numbers are pending from DaimlerChrysler) one of approximately 150 built in 1991.

1988 CS, AGB package (purchased 3/13/99). 2.2 t-I, A-520. 112,xxx miles, second owner. According to ChryCo production reports, one of 2,433 AGBs and one of 2,000 turbo/5-speed (Federal emissions) cars built in '88. Stored in abarn for over two years, wiring harness was victim to what I suppose was the groundhog from Caddyshack - it even ate through the beefy ground cables to the head!! PX8 black with A7S8 gray cloth interior. A/C delete. Crab wheels, mixed tires at this point (were 'correct' tires 205/60 or 225/50?). Repainted at some point (CS badges are too high, no DODGE sticker on the nose under the left headlight - no evidence of an accident, I assume ChryCo clearcoat syndrome). Non-original sunroof. Airbag car (build date 4/88 - odd). Literally NO options other than CS package (although I think it has rear defrost). Purchase price? $400. Plans for this one? Get it running. Then, install my spare set of CSX Recaros, a set of CSX springs, CSX GP front struts, Koni rear shocks, 2.5" exhaust, Conquest IC, up the boost, add MP computer for a t-II along with a charge temp sensor, maybe 804 injectors...who knows? For now, just gonna get it running and drive it.
